Diane Durant is an abstract impressionist painter whose bold, expressive work reflects a lifelong devotion to the arts. After a 40-year career as a Script Supervisor in film, her keen eye for detail and storytelling now breathes life onto canvas.

Raised in a vibrant, artistic family in Santa Monica, Diane was immersed in creativity from an early age. Her passion for painting was sparked on set—first inspired by artwork in The Face of Love, and later captivated by Chu Hui Pak’s paintings during Real Steel in Detroit.

From set to studio, Diane’s journey is one of continuous exploration. In every city she filmed, she sought out art classes, gradually shaping her distinctive voice. Known for her striking use of color, Diane blends unexpected palettes with emotion and intuition, creating work that is both vibrant and deeply evocative. Now based in Atlanta, she creates pieces that radiate energy, emotion, and presence—art that transforms the spaces it inhabits.
